Adriano Battistotti

Born 19.1.1963. Languages German (mother tongue) and English.

He graduated cum laude in Law in 1987 from the University of Genoa with a thesis on La Società Cooperativa nel diritto tedesco.

He has been practising law since 1988 in an autonomous and independent manner.

Since 1995

He has been a founding partner of the Battistotti Donzella Spada Tonelli law firm since 1995.

Since 1987, he has worked for over a decade as Assistant V. to the Chair of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Genoa and, following the establishment of the Polo Universitario Imperiese, also at the University of Imperia.

The training in commercial and corporate law was completed by holding directorships in several corporations.

He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Casinò di Sanremo s.p.a.

As a public administrator, however, he has gained specific expertise in the field of administrative law, having held the office of Municipal Councillor, Council President and Councillor for Economic Development at the Municipality of Sanremo from 1993 to the present.

He took on the role of Deputy Federal Prosecutor for the Italian Golf Federation for the Liguria Region.

Since August 2019, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Casinò di Sanremo spa.

Massimo Donzella

Born 14.5.1963. Graduated in Law in 1987 at the University of Genoa discussing a civil law thesis on New Credit Cards. He has practised the legal profession since 1988 in an autonomous and independent manner. In 1995 he founded the Associated Law Firm with his colleague Battistotti. As a public administrator – President of the Provincial Council of Imperia from 1995 to 1999 and from 2006 to 2010, Councillor for the Budget and Town Planning of the same body from 1999 to 2006, Councillor of the Region of Liguria from 2010 to 2015, where he served as Vice President of the Regional Council – he has acquired specific expertise in the field of administrative law and town planning law in particular, perfecting his skills at the Scuola Superiore di Pubblica Amministrazione in Rome. Since 2019 he has been Councillor for Building, Urban Planning and Public Works of the Municipality of Sanremo.

Luca Spada

Born in San Remo on 21.11.1966.

After his high school studies at the Liceo Classico G.D. Cassini in Sanremo, he graduated with honours in 1991 from the University of Genoa with a thesis in Civil Law entitled ‘Deposito fiduciario a scopo di garanzia’ (Supervisor Prof. Umberto Morello, Professor of Civil Law II).

Having completed his legal practice, he passed the State examination for qualification to practise law at the Court of Appeal of Genoa and, in November 1996, he registered with the Sanremo (now Imperia) Bar Association and, on 25.2.2011, he registered with the Register of Cassation Lawyers.

Since 1996, he has been a partner of Studio Legale Battistotti Donzella Spada Tonelli, a professional association.

In the course of his work as a lawyer, carried out mainly in the field of civil law, he has had the opportunity to deepen some issues related to the real estate and commercial sector, collaborating since 1994 with the Confcommercio of Sanremo and Imperia and lecturing in courses organised by that body for real estate brokers and for the Company Prevention and Protection Service Managers (R.S.P.P.), required by the Consolidated Workplace Safety Act.

Elena Tonelli

Born in Turin on 24.4.1964.

He graduated in Law in 1989 from the University of Genoa with a thesis on criminal law.

He has been practising law since 1990 in an autonomous and independent manner.

In 2006, she became a partner in the Associated Law Firm.

Alessandra Pavone

Born in Sanremo on 14.2.1976. After her high school studies at the Liceo Scientifico G. Saccheri in Sanremo, she graduated in Law in 2001 at the University of Genoa discussing a thesis on criminal procedural law entitled ‘La nuova udienza preliminare alla luce della Legge Carotti’ (Rapporteur Prof. Franco Della Casa, Ordinario di Diritto Proceduale Penale). Having completed his legal practice and attended a course in Milan to prepare for the competition for the judiciary and for the State examination held by Prof. Vincenzo Mariconda, he passed the State examination to qualify as a lawyer at the Genoa Court of Appeal and, on 21 January 2005, he enrolled in the Sanremo (now Imperia) Bar Association. He has practised the legal profession since 2002, first as a Patrocinatore Legale and then as a lawyer, autonomously and independently. He has been collaborating on a permanent basis with the BDST Associated Law Firm since 2002. He has lectured at the C.P.F.P. ‘G. Pastore’ Institute in Imperia in courses organised by that body for the training of condominium administrators. Over the years, he has gained considerable experience in civil precautionary proceedings and, in particular, in the field of seizures of pleasure boats. He also collaborates on a regular basis with several Genoese law firms. Since June 2019, he has been Vice-President of the Sanremo City Council.

Mattia Caruso

Born in San Remo on 1 October 1983. Languages: English and French. Graduated with honours from Milan’s Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore with a thesis on anti-discrimination law and gender equality in the EU legal system. He practised criminal law at the Milan law firm Lunghini Sangiorgio, specialising in economic and business crimes, from July 2011 to March 2013. He collaborated with the Bureau of the ‘Regione Liguria-Assembly’ from November 2013 until May 2015 in Genoa, where he simultaneously attended the ‘De André’ Law School. He qualified as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Milan (2014). He specialised in Milan at the III° Corso di alta formazione dell’avvocato penalista instituted by the Union of Criminal Chambers (2015/2016). He has been collaborating since 2015 with the online legal journal www.giurisprudenzapenale.it.
